Free ‘Celebrate Local’ business expo returns to Gadsden on Thursday

GADSDEN — One of the area’s biggest showcases of local businesses is back this week. The Chamber of Gadsden and Etowah County will host its 13th annual “Celebrate Local: Business Expo” on Thursday, July 30, at The Venue at Coosa Landing.

The expo brings the community and local businesses together for a day of networking, shopping and sampling. Visitors can browse booths from businesses of all sizes, taste bite-sized samples from local restaurants along the “Taste of Etowah” food row, and vote for their favorites in the “best booth” and “Taste of Etowah” categories. Door prizes and giveaways run throughout the day.

Organizers say general admission is free and open to the public, making it an easy outing for families and a chance to discover businesses right here in Etowah County.
