First United Methodist opens registration for free ‘Gift to Gadsden’ workshops

GADSDEN — A longtime summer tradition of free classes is back. First United Methodist Church of Gadsden is again offering its annual “Gift to Gadsden,” a slate of free community workshops taught by church members, and online registration is open.

The program is offered each summer as a community outreach effort, with volunteers sharing their skills and talents through hands-on classes open to the public at no cost. Past sessions have covered a mix of practical and creative topics, giving residents a chance to learn something new close to home.
