First Friday returns to downtown Gadsden on Aug. 7

GADSDEN — Downtown Gadsden’s monthly First Friday returns this week, giving residents an easy way to start the weekend.

The event is set for Friday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the downtown district. First Friday typically brings shoppers and families to Broad Street as stores stay open late and the sidewalks fill with visitors browsing local shops and grabbing a bite.
