Several community events will take place in Gadsden this week.
The Gadsden Public Library will host regular programs starting Wednesday. Beginner Sewing meets at 3 p.m. Yoga starts at 4 p.m. Both programs are free and open to the public.
The library’s Sole Trainers Walking Club meets Thursday at noon. The program offers low-impact exercise for adults.
Gadsden City High School will host a wrestling match Thursday at 5 p.m. The event takes place at the school gym.
The Chamber of Gadsden and Etowah County offers one-to-one small business counseling Thursday. Appointments are available through the chamber office.
All library programs take place at the main branch on South College Street. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
