GADSDEN — Burlington is still hiring in Gadsden, and the store’s opening day is now in sight.
The Etowah County Chamber’s calendar lists another Burlington job fair Monday, Aug. 3, part of a run of hiring events the retailer has held as it prepares to open. Burlington plans to open its Gadsden store Sept. 4 at Coosa Town Center, filling the former Bealls space.
For job seekers, the fairs are a chance to apply in person and talk with hiring managers. Anyone interested should ask the questions that matter most for household budgets: how many positions are full time versus part time or seasonal, what the starting pay is, whether benefits are offered, and how many of the jobs will remain after the store’s opening rush.
The opening adds a new retail option at Coosa Town Center, a shopping center that has seen several changes recently, and continues a stretch of retail activity in Gadsden that also includes the recent Rural King opening.
GadsdenThrive is working to confirm the number of jobs, pay ranges and whether Sept. 4 remains the firm opening date, and will update readers as those details are confirmed. Details on Monday’s job fair, including time and location, are available through the Etowah County Chamber.
