Attalla Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Missing, Endangered Man

ATTALLA — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing man considered endangered.

The Attalla Police Department says Nathaniel Lucas Jackson, 40, was last seen July 29 near Sixth Street Southwest in Attalla. Investigators classify him as missing and endangered because he has been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and has the cognitive functioning of a child.

Jackson is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a tan striped polo shirt, gray shorts and Nike flip-flops.

Anyone who has seen Jackson or knows where he may be is urged to call the Attalla Police Department dispatch immediately at 256-538-7837.
