Attalla police still searching for missing endangered man Nathaniel Jackson

ATTALLA, Ala. Attalla police are still looking for Nathaniel Lucas Jackson, 40, who has not been seen since July 29. The state alert for him remains active as of Friday, Aug. 7.

Anyone who sees Jackson or knows where he is should call the Attalla Police Department at 256-538-7837 or call 911.

What do police say happened?

Jackson was last seen about 2 p.m. on July 29 in the area of 6th Street Southwest, inside the Attalla city limits. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a missing person alert for him on Aug. 4.

Police say Jackson is believed to be living with a condition that may impair his judgment. That is why the case is being handled as missing and endangered rather than as a routine missing person report.

According to the state alert, Jackson is a white man, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing a tan striped polo shirt, grey shorts, Nike sandals and a ball cap.
