Local Events Planned Ahead of Valentine’s Day

Several local businesses and organizations have planned events for the week before Valentine’s Day.

Area restaurants are accepting reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner service on Feb. 14. Many establishments offer special menus for the holiday.

The Gadsden Public Library will host Story Time on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The program includes Valentine-themed books and activities for children.

Local florists and gift shops report increased activity ahead of the holiday. Many businesses offer delivery services.

The Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts has gallery hours throughout the week. The center is located on Broad Street in downtown Gadsden.

Noccalula Falls Park provides a scenic location for outdoor activities. The park is open daily with trails and picnic areas available.

Downtown Gadsden shops and restaurants are open regular hours. Parking is available in public lots and on-street spaces.
