Schools Announce February Activities and Events

Gadsden area schools have announced activities and events for February.

Gadsden City Schools will distribute progress reports on Feb. 11. Parents can check student grades through the school system’s online portal.

The Gadsden City Board of Education will hold its regular meeting in February. The meeting is open to the public. Details are available on the school system website.

Etowah County Schools will observe a professional development day on Feb. 16. Students will not attend school that day.

Middle school baseball games are scheduled throughout February. Gadsden City will play West End on Feb. 23 at 4 p.m.

Individual schools will host parent-teacher conferences and special events. Families should check their school’s website for specific dates and times.

Gadsden State Community College continues its spring semester. The 60 percent attendance date is Feb. 13. The last day to withdraw from classes is Feb. 20.
